IDEAL
Through the AZ Ideal Site we currently have access to Recipes4Success. Here you can find "Recipes" (a tutorial that walks users through a general task using Office Software) and Snacks (for specific tasks in Office). You must sign in to the Ideal Site: https://www.ideal.azed.gov. A word processing recipe exist for creating a school newspaper. This tutorial walks you through the process of creating a school newspaper using Microsoft Word. Students will learn how to: make a new document, add text, format text, add a border, save a document, add a break, add columns, check spelling, insert clip art, add a table, auto format a table, add a bulleted list and print a document. For Microsoft Word, there are 79 specific directions from how to add a caption to how to wrap text around a word.

IDEAL
AZ IDEAL(6-8)A recipe exists for using Microsoft Excel for analyzing calories in a meal. Through this tutorial, students learn how to: make a new spreadsheet, enter text, format text, enter data, create a multiplication formula, create a division formula, use the AutoSum, format data, make a pie chart, print a worksheet, and move between worksheets. Snacks exist for 108 specific tasks from adding a border to working with split windows.
